Data Protection Policy

REVIVERA Medical Clinic, acting as controller of personal data, collects and processes data in accordance with Romanian Law no. 677 of 21.11.2001 and, from 25.05.2018, with Regulation no. 679 of 27.04.2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

The purpose of this document is to inform you accurately, specifically and unambiguously about how and why this data is collected and processed, how long it is kept, how you can exercise your individual rights, as well as about any secondary purpose of the processing, should the data be processed for a purpose other than the one for which it was collected.

In processing this data we observe the legislation in force on the protection and processing of personal data. To that end we have put in place appropriate technical measures, established a set of internal technical and administrative procedures, and delivered training within the company so that every member of the team is aware of and accountable for these obligations.

Personal data collected through the website or through direct communication is processed in order to fulfil your requests.

If you are a visitor, the only data recorded is that recorded by the cookies you accepted on your first visit to the site, via the cookie policy notice, and described on the Cookie Policy page.

How long personal data is kept and processed is closely tied to the working relationship between our company and you as a client or prospective client. Data may be erased at the explicit request of the data subject, or kept for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes stated on this page.

Data required to issue invoices and contracts is kept for the period necessary to meet the legal obligations (tax, archiving) imposed by Romanian law.

On their first visit to the site, every user is presented with the list of cookies that collect — explicitly or implicitly, in one way or another — data that may fall within the category of personal data. This is done through the notice at the bottom of the site, through which the visitor can accept the privacy and data protection policy.

Forms are only submitted once the data collection and protection policy has been read and accepted, which is confirmed by the mandatory checkboxes at the foot of each form.

A request to amend, update or erase data must be made in writing or sent to dpo@revivera.clinic, and must state how you would like the response to be communicated — on paper or electronically. Such requests are answered within 30 days of receipt.

For any question about how the data of the persons concerned is used, or if any further clarification is needed on any aspect of the processing, please contact the company's Data Protection Officer by email at dpo@revivera.clinic or by submitting a hand-signed notice in person at the company's registered office.

This notice is supplemented by the provisions of Romanian Law no. 677 of 21.11.2001 and, from 25.05.2018, by the provisions of Regulation no. 679 of 27.04.2016, as well as by the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
