Teosyal Kiss is a hyaluronic acid filler designed specifically for the lips, giving volume, hydration and a well-defined border. Its soft texture delivers a natural result.

Treatment areas

  • Lips — redefining the lip border, tissue hydration and volume support

More fluid gels are used for the lips and fine lines, and higher-density gels for the cheekbones, chin and jawline. The choice of product and injection technique is made individually by the doctor, after an anatomical and functional assessment of the face.

How the session works

  1. Free medical consultation — the doctor assesses the anatomy of your face and your medical history and decides whether the procedure is appropriate.
  2. Preparing the area — the skin is cleansed and disinfected; a local anaesthetic can be applied for comfort.
  3. Injection — the filler is injected by the doctor, with a needle or a cannula, depending on the area.
  4. Aftercare — the doctor gives you aftercare advice for home and, if needed, a follow-up appointment is scheduled.

The session takes around 50 minutes, including the consultation and preparation.

How long the effect lasts

Hyaluronic acid is gradually and naturally reabsorbed by the body through enzyme activity. How long the result lasts depends on the type of gel and its degree of cross-linking, the injected area, and also on your individual metabolism, lifestyle and the blood supply of the area:

  • lips: the estimated average duration is around 9–12 months.

The exact estimate is discussed after your individual medical consultation, and maintaining the result requires periodic maintenance sessions.

Safety and contraindications

Most reactions are mild and temporary: swelling, bruising, tenderness or small lumps at the injection site, which usually settle within a few days to a few weeks. Serious complications are rare.

Hyaluronic acid treatment is not given:

  • during pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • when there is an active infection or inflammation in the area to be treated
  • if you have a known allergy to hyaluronic acid or to the product’s ingredients, including the local anaesthetic in products that contain one

Tell the doctor at the consultation if you take anticoagulants or antiplatelet medicines, if you have an autoimmune disease or if you have had cold sores. The doctor assesses each case.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved, if needed, with hyaluronidase. Read more about dissolving hyaluronic acid.
